Coolpad formerly known as China Wireless Technologies is a Caymans-incorporated holding company. LeEco is one of China's most popular mobile brands and has become Coolpad’s largest shareholder. The amalgamation of both the companies led to a new smartphone "Coolpad cool1" launched by Coolpad which runs on LeEco EUI and has turned up really well.

Why to purchase Coolpad cool1 ?

The overall design is good with a good build quality except the borders surrounded at the corner of the mobile doesn't comes up so well. It has a metallic body design, finger Print is pretty fast and seems too accurate and also camera quality turns up really well. It comes up with good features and in less price range.

Coolpad cool1 mobile comes up with eui5.6 update. 

You can update eui5.9 on Coolpad cool1 mobile, lets see how can this be done. This can be done from System updates that is available under Settings.

New functions of it :

• You can now take screenshot by swiping through three fingers which was earlier done by volume and power button.
• Under Gallery you can now find old local recycle bin option so in case if you delete any file gets deleted by mistake then you can find it here.
• Under personal hotspot you can find new options now such as connected users and maximum connections which can help you to view connected users and also set how many users can get connected, maximum 8 users can be connected. You can also hide your WiFi.
• Get into the Accessibility option and you have the option of back light duration i.e you can define the duration of the light shown up by the three buttons present at the bottom in Accessibility screen, For e.g you can show up the light till it is touched or till the screen is on and on the other side can always keep the light off.
• Under Accessibility screen you can also find swipe shortcut option where you can find number of shortcuts which can be edited from secondary menu option present right in the swipe shortcut screen.
• There is also Gesture menu under swipe shortcut option under which you have many options such as manage notification on slide down, navigate to the back screen on slide left etc which you can take advantage of.
• You also have by default call recording feature now.

Why you would not want to purchase Coolpad cool1

Here it comes up with a drawback for the users who might be hesitant to purchase this as there is only 32 GB internal storage which cannot be expanded i.e sadly there is no MicroSD card slot in this mobile.

Advantages as per user point of view

1. Battery backup is good.
2. Camera performance is better.
3. Can support high graphics games without lag.
4. Price is low.
5. Good design.
6. Finger print scanner is too fast.

Disadvantages as per user point of view  

• Heats up while charging.
• It has only 32 GB internal storage which cannot be expanded.
• No MicroSD Card slot.
• Charging isn't fast.
• Nougat update isn't available yet.

If you are looking for a phone of lesser price range with good battery backup, good camera performance and love playing high graphics games without lag then Coolpad cool1 is here for

you but you might hesitate if you are looking for large internal storage as it doesn't have MicroSD card slot in it.
