Grey wagtail

Grey wagtail

Grey wagtail carrying a scientific name Motacilla cinerea, a medium sized bird with around 14-22 grams in weight and 18-19 cm in length. These have a very noticably longer white sided tail with upper-part and head in dark grey, eye white striped, bright yellow at lower body and vent. The yellow portion at belly is lesser in female Grey wagtail. These are seen in winters mainly at lowland areas, farmyards and even towns.

I did manage taking shots of Grey wagtail birds at tiragthgarh Waterfalls (in Chattisgarh) adding a beauteous point to the falls hitting down with its harmony and the overall marveling effect was simply pacifying.

Tirathgarh Waterfalls in Bastar (Chattisgarh)
