Notification History in Android 11
Android 11 with Developer preview releases have come up with noteworthy bunch of new changes and one from them is Notification History. This feature obviously is advantageous providing us with the dedicated page for the notifications running into our phones. Its common for us to swipe away the notification by mistake and scratch our head to get it back, keep pondering on what it was about. So here we do have a history option below the notification tray where Manage is now replaced by History option.
Tap on history provided at the left corner below the notification tray in shadow in order to navigate to a screen Notification History where you can find two two sections, one as Recently dismissed and the other Today section. We can now see the notifications gotten throughout the day in Today section and the recently dismissed goes at the top of this screen. Notably the new history option is just a visual read out and doesn't allow opening the notification in the app directly. It also provides the option to toggle off the notification history.
