Mocambo Restaurant located at Park Street, the heart of the city in Kolkata truly a place that captivates food fanatics. Every corner here screams vintage be it then the red vinyl sofas with silk lampshades right above the table complimenting it, heavy Persian carpets, mural escarpment, diversified cuisines and their authentic way  to prepare it been intact from years. Mocambo with its plush ambience and  top-notch continental food, maintaining its enigma of unique cuisines will surely tantalize your taste buds. Mocambo though holds the prices high, its worth the taste.

My Experience at Mocambo Restaurant

Devilled Crab

Devlied crab served on halved shells at Mocambo that simply melts down in your mouth will take you on a ride to heaven with its delicious taste. It was served on banana leaf and was presented well. This dish is cooked taking out the crab meat from the shell blended with spices, sauces and cooked with bread crumbs with a consistency similar to loose crab cake, and then returned to a halved crab shell to be served and eaten with a fork or spoon. Its highly recommended to try this.

Fish Florentine

Fish Florentine topped off with lots and lots of cheese with layers of spinach, potato, fish fillets, and best complimented with tobasco sauce was simply cheesilicious and amazing, one should give it a try for sure when in Mocambo.

Fish steak sizzler

Well, as said Mocambo has its pride attached to its sizzlers! stands up to its words. It came out loud fuming and sizzling in a pan seasoned with too many boiled vegetables, blended with spices, sauces and  stuffed in cheese. I would highly recommend to have this here, it was mouth watering.
