Not your next door girl
Soul clenched, her heart pierced
strangling amid the deafening crowd
Succumbed beneath the roars
destructively afloat unpremeditated waves
Hopes elusive abandoned the vigor
detouring darker clouds, will this sun ever shine?
Recoiling the noise, shutting the gates
restraining the passage to her sphere
Accumulating the courage, holding the acceptance
she flees, dodging the steady noise
Breathed a sigh, tamed the pounding heart,
affirming herself of her presence.
Spilling heart out on the umpteen pages,
slightly but certainly rising again as Phoenix
Rejuvenated and alive, inhaling the fresh air
she did perceive the oarsman of inner peace.
